To Everything there is a Season
Here at the spokeasy, the stories of the trails are woven into the structure. The posts are stringers from old trail bridges built by a swim team from Illinois who were here many summers ago working on the trails for a dollar a day. The gnarly candlesticks were derived from a debris hut constructed by a pair of wilderness survival skills experts who went on to co-found the Spartan Race. The bike parts I inherited from former Amee Farm farmers who were going to start a mail order bike business out of the chicken coop, but never made headway.
Every object has a tale to tell. If you want to hear a few, just ask. They'd make great campfire stories.
